Review: Etude House Color My Brows

e1
If you've noticed, I rarely post outfit photos lately and that is because I haven't taken ootd shots because (1) I am back to work (2) I am always in lazy, almost maternity wear and (3) I always feel so tired to blog or even pose in front of the camera. Good thing I took a number of make-up photos a couple of weeks back that I still have something to write in my blog. Now, I'm so excited to share to you my latest favorite product -- the Etude House Color my Brows.

e2

Before I tell you my impression on the product, I need to admit to you something. When I bought this a month back at Etude House, I was just looking for a brow product that will match my color. The saleslady approached me and gave this product to me. I immediately bought it without even asking what color or shade this product is. So as you read my review, I won't be able to tell you the exact name of this brow product.

Shaping / shading my brows has always been my problem. My brows has a lazy attitude (my HMUA friend had a hard time coloring and shaping it) and I always end up putting the wrong color on my brows. Since I'm a cheapskate, I haven't purchased MAC's brow product (boy-girl), it took me time to find a cheaper alternative. I'm really glad I discovered a cheaper version in Etude House.

Here are the product swatches:

PROs:
* It is really affordable (P300+)
* It blends well with my skin and hair color
* On the right application, it can easily fill in some spaces on the brows

CONs:
* The product tends to coagulate when applied heavily
* You need 2-4 strokes to get the preferred shade

Over all, I still love the product! I'm giving it a 3.5/5 rating because of the coagulating part (and the high number of strokes I need to achieve my target shade) but I still love using it!

Hope you like this review. Gotta go now guys. Don't forget to share me your thoughts!

Much Love,
The Bargain Doll

Rovie, if you want to put less of the product but can still define your brows, try the darker shades. I've been using this product for almost three years because it's great :) they used to have 2 shades (light brown-the one you used, and dark brown) a few months back they started selling the medium brown shade. Why don't you give it a try? Hope this comment helps! :)
Love the comment. The thing is the darker shade does not go well with my hair color. I needed one that compliments hair :)
Yes you get one na :)

I use that too. Helps a lot to groom, shade and shape the brows. I apply that first then set with a brow powder...

I've tried this twice in their stores. I like it but I don't LOVE it. :P It's good that you like it though!

Hi sis! I love how you do your brows. As they say, forget anything in your makeup but not your brows. It matches to your hair, so cute!

I don't know if you remember what I commented before that you look like a celeb but I can't remember her name. Now I remember. You look like Nina Ricci Alagao. :) You're so pretty! :)

That is one thing that I never use. My eyebrow is very thin and I'm scared to make it more thin ... hehe ...
