A Refreshing Buffet Experience at 7 Flavors

Everytime I take my alternate route from work to our house in QC, I never fail to miss the sight of 7 Flavors restaurant along A. Mabini Street at San Juan. I was always curious to try it out as its signage says "7 Flavors Buffet Bakery Cafe," where I initially thought that it was a bakery buffet that offers unlimited dessert and pastries. But, I was wrong. Very wrong.

7 flavors is a restaurant with a fresh concept. On the ground floor, It has a bakery that offers good breads and pastries. (I heard their ensaymada tastes so goos that it easily goes out of stock in the morning). If you want some ala carte comfort food, they have the 7 Flavors Cafe to serve you good all day breakfast and coffee, which can also be a chill bar ag night. But if your stomach craves for something more, then you may want to go to their second floor and check out their buffet.

We all love buffets. Who does not? For a small price to pay, you can enjoy all the food you want until you ran out of space to breathe. For Php 400 per head, you can enjoy a fair mix of salads, starters, main course and desserts with your family or friends. At night, the rates goes up to Php 600 per head. It also has 3 private rooms that you can use should you want a more private, intimate gathering.

The buffet has a decent number of dishes enough to satisfy your craving. They have a maki station to fill your wanting for some Japanese food, and a roast beef station in case your inner carnivore is hungry. My personal favorite is their tacos for it has a homey and comforting taste. The buffet has a mix of Filipino, chinese and some Korean dishes enough to fill your tummies. You can have your DIY halo halo or indulge in their pastries for dessert. Drinks like iced tea, four seasons and lemonade comes for free as well.

7 flavors is a refreshing option to those who are usually overwhelmed with the numerous food servings of other buffet restaurants present. Personally however, I would enjoy the buffet more if they would offer a greater variety to their  dimsum and sashimi offering. Yet, I enjoyed eating in 7 Flavors cause of its cozy interiors and relaxing ambiance. You could enjoy eating unlimited food without the hassle or the noise.
