Make-Up Mondays: Ever Bilena Off Beat Pink

If I have to make a choice on what is my favorite lipstick color, I must say that it is Ever Bilena's OFF BEAT PINK matte lipstick. I discovered this color a couple of years back, with the surprise that the I will find my favorite pink shade in this humble and affordable brand.

Two weeks ago, while I was in Mercury Drug, I decided to buy myself my (third or fourth) tube of Off Beat Pink (cause swear, this is the only lipstick I get to finish) and I'm really happy that it's only P155. 

Just a side story. I remember last year, during our company's Christmas Party I asked for this (and a couple of other drugstore make-up items) and everyone laughed at me cause they cannot believe that I use a brand such as Ever Bilena (Probably because they're expecting me to be using the other high end brands). Well, I'm not really shy to admit that I use affordable make-ups like EB (and wear Ukay and cheap clothes) but I'm more proud that I get to wear something that can make me look good without spending a lot.

Anyway, back to the beauty review. I really like this lipstick shade personally cause it gives that right amount of pink (not too light or not too fuschia) to give that "barbie" look. Also, the fact that it has a matte finish, makes this EB tube a lot more sulit cause it relatively lasts longer on the lips.

All in all, I like Off Beat Pink because of its color. However, a big disadvantage is I tend to get cracked / dried lips (probably because of its matte finish) hours after application. It is advisable to put on a lipbalm prior to putting the lipstick to minimize chapping.
