Of Outer Space and Cheeseburger Pizza
Hello guys! Is it me, or time flies too fast? Anyways, it has been a busy weekend for me, and I probably spent half of it fixing things for our wedding. But before I tell you stuff about it, let me share with you first how Paolo and I spent our monthsary last May 16, Thursday.
Luckily, I was invited by a good friend, Kath Estaquio for the block screening of Star Trek Into Darkness. It was like perfect timing for Paolo and I were contemplating what to do for our 104th monthsary. I was quite curious to watch the movie as I remember snippets of Star Trek shows when I was a kid. I'm glad Paolo was a geek and he was interested in the movie as well.
Anyways, before I share you how our movie date went, let me first show you what I wore that day.
Since I came from work that day, I just brought with me outfits that will easily make my look stunning without too much effort. I easily picked this cape top from Creme Dela Femme and the heel-less shoes from Mags.
Necklace & Spiked Bangles: Highlights Accessories
Bangles: Oh My Garment
Ring: Random
Shorts: Divisoria
Shoes: MAGS
Whenever I'm lazy to think of my outfit, I just try to mix and match statement pieces to make my look a little stunning. I hope this one worked, as it was a sacrifice walking around the mall in my heel-less shoes. :p Anyhoo, going back to our Star Trek Date, Paolo and I were very privileged to be invited at the Pizza Hut's block screening of the Star Trek movie.
More than the free movie screening, we were treated with a sumptous treat of different Pizza Hut products (Yes cheat day!!!!).
Cheatness overload: Sausage Roll, Mozarella Sticks, Chicken wings and their newest offering: the Cheeseburger Pizza!
At 7:30PM, we were asked to finish our meal and head inside the Cineplex to watch the movie.
But wait! Before they played the movie, they gave away P1000 Pizza Hut GCs and yes I won!!! Which I will use to treat my Lolo for his birthday!
And we will eat tons of this delicous cheeseburger pizza! I seriously forgot the fact that I was on a diet and finished 2 slices in 2 minutes!
The obligatory couple shot before the movie.
It definitely enjoyed the movie! As I told earlier I rmember watching Star Trek when I was little, but forgot some details of it growing up. It was fun seeing Spuck again, and see them fly on space. It was a fun night for the two of us for we were not just visually satisfies, but our tastebuds were too :)
Thanks again Kath for the invite!
Hope you liked this post! Good luck on the coming workweek! :)
Much Love,
The Bargain Doll
