Before Summer Ends

As the rain starts pouring down, I realized that its time to blog about the only summer outing my family and I had this summer.

It was a sunny Sunday in February, when my Singapore based cousin, Aimee treated our family for a summer outing in Subic, Zambales. It was a last minute thing, and luckily we were able to book a number of rooms in Subiza Beach Resort in Agoda.

We enjoyed the resort's amenities during our overnight stay there. As parents, we now enjoy seeing Leon enjoy his time as he played with his cousin, Avery. Unfortunately though, Leon was still too afraid to swim back then. We just took him in our island hopping in Subic where he enjoyed his time in the boat.

It was the only summer outing our family had for the summer. It has been a tradition for us to go on a outing at least once a year and we are really glad that we had one. Now that we're adults, finding time (and budget, lol) to go on a vacation is difficult cause of our busy (adulting) schedules. Still, we are very glad that at least, we were able to bond together as family.
