A Trip to Tagaytay: Finding the Perfect Venue

Last Holy Wednesday, Paolo and I went to Tagaytay (again) to scout for possible venues for our wedding next year. It was a last minute decision as Paolo and I got a good deal at AGODA.COM that offered a 50% off for a DELUXE ROOM in LEE BOUTIQUE Hotel. We paid only P3000 for a P6500 room! (Great deal, for a super wonderful room. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST SULIT BUYS WE'VE MADE!) :)

Anyways, I have previously shared with you that Pao and I found ourselves walking on the aisle and exchanging our I do's Calaruega Church. Our only dilemna is finding the perfect place to celebrate our Union. And we found it when we saw Splendido Golf and Country Club. It offers a cozy indoor venue with that very intimate garden feel and a beautiful view of the mountains. After numerous visits of different venues (in Tagaytay and Manila), it was only Splendido that gave me the chills. It has all that I was looking for -- an indoor venue, a garden, and a small view of the Taal. (And oh, Tagaytay was meaningful to us cause its the first place we went and celebrated out of town, when we were still students. :p)

However, a heavenly place made us confused when Pao and I went to Club Balai Isabel in Talisay Batangas the next day. I got so curious when I saw the upclose photos of Taal Volcano hence the consideration. The place was magical, beautiful and picture perfect. The place was more like "us."

The only problem is, its almost an hour away from Calaruega. I was also hesitant cause the road leading to Balai Isabel is so zigzag that scared me (and I feel it will also scare my guest). I was so frustrated cause we wanted this venue so bad but we both dream of getting married in Calaruega Church.

Up until now we still can't decide what to choose, (Splendido and Calaruega) or Club Balai Isabel and a church in Talisay.
And because my head hurt from all the thinking, Pao and I decided to grab a drink in Starbucks to help us decide properly.

And obviously, It did not help. :p and i wish before the coming week ends, we get to choose the best :)

Much Love,
